Bio

Patrick Denty, home town Happy Valley-Goose Bay, is an semi-professional percussionist birthing his musical debut in Stephenville, NL. His style includes a heavy rock influence mixed with a funk and metal/industrial genres. Patrick is capable of reproducing a wide variety of styles and genres on a kit, as well as sing back-up vocals. Patrick has been playing drums since the age of 13, when he was introduced to the music scene in the Royal Canadian Air/Army Cadets band, and since has become well known for his technical abilities as well as a sturdy rhythm. He has been performing for the cadet corp in several parades, and small events held in Goose Bay during the 6 years dedicated to the program, and was deemed Drum/ Band Major for 2 years following his retirement at the age of 19. At 16, Patrick obtained a drum kit and began blending his military styles, as well as focusing on lists of songs given by various "band members". With several years of precision practicing, he has become one of the top drummers born in Labrador.
Today, Patrick prefers the fine sound of a rhythm section breathing from a stage, and believes in the mix of sound and silence to blend into a musical piece.
