Howdy Partner

The devastating drought and harsh winter conditions in Central Texas have taken their toll on wild vegetation. Local ranchers have had to rely solely upon supplemental feed for their livestock. Thankfully, El Niño has brought tons of rain to Texas and we are finally out of the drought. The fog on this day was exceptionally thick, making a beautiful backdrop for these horses. Three horses walked right up to the fence line and posed for me. The flashed fired on the first photo, causing two of the horses to take off running. I turned and snapped this photo as quickly as I could. This is the only photo I could get of this guy before he too ran off.
