Bio

Originally formed in May 2009, Everlong came together as a project to spread Foo Fighters Music to the masses. Everlong worked diligently in the studio to be able to re-create the music and vibe of an actual Foo Fighters show. In August of 2009, after months of tedious rehearsal, Everlong began to bring the music from one of today’s most prolific rock bands to local venues. Everlong is indeed California’s original Foo Fighters tribute band.

Everlong builds it’s show around it’s singer, Aubrey Dana (as does Foo Fighters… Dave Grohl). Aubrey embodies the energy and charisma of Dave Grohl. He looks like, sounds like, and plays like Dave Grohl. When one sees him perform, their eyes are glued to him as they would be on Dave at a Foo Fighters concert. Aubrey has significant music experience and provides a true representation of the heart and soul of the Foo Fighters music.

Guitarist Joe Golden has taken on the task of filling the shoes of the numerous guitarists that have graced the Foo Fighters stage for nearly 15 years. Fortunately, Joe’s 20+ years experience lend to his ability to fill the role flawlessly. His tireless effort and dedication to his craft shines during Everlong performances.

Behind the drums is the perfect fit for a Foo Fighters tribute band. Rob Warren he had similar musical roots to Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins. They all idolized Neal Peart of Rush and patterned much of their playing style after him.. The torrid pace on drums established by Dave Grohl in the earlier recordings and continued by Taylor Hawkins is handled with ease by Rob and his uncanny ability to rock it hard.

Dean Smith holds down the bottom end for Everlong. Like Nate of the Foo Fighters, Dean locks in with his drummer for a solid backbone to create the platform for the guitars and vocals to shine. Though only picking up the bass guitar less than 6 years ago and being self taught, Dean has played with many local tribute and cover bands around southern California, and now holds the position as our bass player with relative ease.

Everlong has been playing to rave reviews from fans and clubs since it’s inception. They are able to draw on the seemingly endless list of radio singles released by the Foo Fighters for show material. The fan appeal of the Foo Fighters crosses all age ranges and musical genres. Their popularity is enormous. Everlong captures that and provides a show where fans can sing and dance to every song they play. Everlong has headlined venues such as the House of Blues, The Orange County Fair, Romano’s Concert Hall (Riverside), Paladino’s in Reseda and many other clubs throughout Southern California, and continually growing in popularity.
