I try to really take things one day at a time. Of course I have goals and certain aspirations as an artist but it feels so much better to live in the here and now.

  • Nip/Tuck/Glow: Hair and Makeup Makeovers

Dominic Michael Salon (Model: Staci Wittenauer) Hair by Shaudi Habibi and Susie Wilga Staci wanted her hair cleaned up: It had layers of all different lengths, the ends were damaged, and the part down the middle looked outdated. For an updated look, we cut the hair shorter to get the weight off, and gave it a nice, clean, rounded look in the back. Since her hair is naturally wavy, we gave her tips on how to prep it with a blow-dryer and then use the flat iron. Staci was very gold in color before, so we added lowlights to neutralize and give her hair some depth. Makeup by Ashley Lueckenhoff and Nikki Clark We wanted to give Staci a look that she could do by herself at home. She's married with kids, so we wanted something low-maintenance. We used a tinted moisturizer to even-out her skin. We put a lot of focus on her eyes by contouring along her brow bone and using natural brown tones. We enhanced the cheekbone by using bronzer underneath the blush, it gives the illusion of high cheekbones and takes five pounds off the face instantly.Publication: http://www.laduenews.com/articles/2009/05/28/living/beauty/doc4a1ee689909b4158578291.txtDate:
