Dennis Crocker, TV technician at Phifer Middle School, won an international music composition competition.
Pennsauken Township, NJ - Dennis Crocker, audio/visual technician at Phifer Middle School, recently won an international music composition competition sponsored by the Web site talenttrove.com and Sam Ash Music.
Crocker is known for producing and teaching students to produce, shoot and edit video on Pennsauken TV.
Although a musician in his early days, playing violin, acoustic guitar, trombone, electric base and a little keyboard, he no longer plays an instrument but composes music using only a computer program called Acid Pro, which he taught himself.
Crocker currently has composed 12 songs on his Web site and hopes it encourages kids to produce and make music, even if they don't play an instrument.
