Background: I'm a mother of 5 awesome kids. Two of which are new talents here on Lafango We are a family of gamers. I play mostly PC games but have been known to play the X BOX 360 at times. I play online multi-player games.(half-life 2 deathmatch & left 4 dead)....and NOT WoW. I say it like it is. I seem to have a greater understanding of things that most of the time is misunderstood. I like to play and have fun. I'm always open to new ideas and I like spontaneity. ----------------------------------------------------------- A true thrillseeker, keeping it real! ----------------------------------------------------------- I make videos of my online gaming clan, [TKO] aka The Killbox Order, in game and set it to music. I also just recently began using the Hammer World Editor to create custom maps and levels for my favorite games. Interests: I would love to be a part of a development team for Source games. I have sooo many ideas for SourceMods that I'm just bursting. I try to be a role model or icon for all female gamers out there. It really isn't easy being a female AND a gamer. It's shocking to learn how uncommon women gamers are in the gaming world and it's expected for women to only play games like Bejewled or Luxor and "certainly not a game that requires skill" as I have been told before, among other extremes I won't mention being a lady and all..... I am the counter shock to that community and have made it a point to get to know any female gamers that I meet. Us girls gotta stick together. I am working on my degree and learning about video game creation as well. Eventually I will create my very own comedy machinima series. So, what is Machinima? Machinima (muh-sheen-eh-mah) is filmmaking within a real-time, 3D virtual environment, often using 3D video-game technologies. In an expanded definition, it is the convergence of filmmaking, animation and game development. Machinima is real-world filmmaking techniques applied within an interactive virtual space where characters and events can be either controlled by humans, scripts or artificial intelligence. By combining the techniques of filmmaking, animation production and the technology of real-time 3D game engines, Machinima makes for a very cost- and time-efficient way to produce films, with a large amount of creative control. That is definition from [url]www.machinima.com[/url] My machinima idea is about a player model that in real life(yes in real life) is non existent. Make any sense? NOPE. Well she really is not there. In every female player model group in all of Valve Source games, ALL~!!!! There is not one group that has a female_05. Not one group, not the medics or the civilians, nor the rebels none, and people who have created player model skins and such have tried to use them to replace that player model to no avail. Because she isn't there, at all. That was the very first thing I ever said about the game Half-Life 2 Deathmatch when I very first opened it and chose a player model to use. There was NO female_05!!!! Everyone I asked thought I was crazy and seriously nub. (I was) but I went on a quest and posted them to the support team, the forums everywhere and not one time did I get any responses to it. At all. crazy huh? Apparently because female gamers aren't seriously considered in this type of game, no one has payed attention to the fact that the player models to choose from for Deathmatch goes: female_01 female_02 female_03 female_04 female_06 female_07 For some reason its a total mystery to the point that I have created my very own, very imaginative and very hilarious idea of her where abouts.

Goals: Art, I collect all my kids' art, online gaming, game level design in Hammer World Editor. My favorite artists are (but not limited to) Luis Royo and Gerald Brom. (This person has the right and/or desire to change these favorites at any time without notice to the readers) I love all music, there isn't much of it I don't like. But it goes: Heavy Metal first, everything else after. I love roller skating, I even have a pair of Sketchers tennis shoe/speed skates. My kids and I have tons of fun with each other all the time, it gets crazy around here. I work on computers for now and am taking classes to earn a degree in Computer Science. I love learning different things, and yearn to know everything in the world that is fascinating. I have a sense of humor that even I can't put a name to, but it makes all my kids and their friends and my friends too bust out laughs......... a lot. I love drawing and waterpainting. I also dabble in video producing/machinima and digital arts. One more thing I have been doing since my children were born (close to 19 years now) is creating the most authentic, original and detailed costumes EVER! I will collect scraps of ribbons, rubber, lace, leather, fabrics of all kinds, clothes that no one wears, costume jewelry and any thing else that could be used for any kind of costume you could think of. Let me just tell you that I do not forget details and will not spare a single stitch to create these either. Its been my favorite pastime and my kids love my costume boxes during the rest of the year. But Halloween is where it's at for sure!!!!!! You can see an illustrated example of my daughter and I wearing our costumes one year. Of course this year Devony wanted to do a simple costume and make-up. (Zombie) I do love zombies!!! Zombies and Horror anything. Props to pictures, art, paintings and everything Sci-Fi. I guess that makes me a geek or a nerd. So be it!
