Gerard Meester
So what are you up to?
Posted over a year agoBackground: I am a musican from Holland. I started as a bassplayer in a band called Mixuped Confusion with three cousins and a friend in 1969. In military Service I had two bands and then I got married and quit music. Sold all my stuff except the violin bass that my parents gave me in 1967. I still use this guitar on the recordings you hear. Two years later I bought a Spanish guitar and tried to play lead guitar with old blues records and developed my own style. My favourite blues lead guitarist is Peter Green. He taught me about notes that you hear but never are played. After that I\'ve played in several bands and toured many years through the country. In the last bluesband \"The Ramshackle Bluesband\" I\'ve played leadguitar and slide and recorded 4 CD\'s. I am 59 years old and got tired of touring and left the band. Now I have a digital studio and try to make my own music together with my cousin Peter. We compose and play music for more than 40 years now.
Interests: I want to compose, make and produce music
Goals: To be a creative musician and an expert on digital recording and mixing techniques
