Background: Music Career : 1976 - Performed for the first time when I was studying in Kindergarten. - I was awarded the First prize at the 'FESTIVAL CANTAREA ROMANIEI' for the best Romanian song (folklore). 1982 - Was part of the group called Horincea at the School of Arts and Music in Galati. - Attracted by Indian films and music I started singing on the stage in school and various programs in Galati. 1990 - My first performance in Hindi Music at the Indian Embassy. 1990 to 1991 - Took correspondance course in Hindi from New Delhi , India. The course was offered by the courtesy of the Indian Ambasador to Romania Hon.Exc. Julio Ribeiro. - Scince 1990 am closely associated with the Indian Embassy and has been performing for their festivals and dignitories frequently. 1998 - Sang at the reception organaised for the great Bharatnatyam dancer Geeta Chandran after her performance at the Romanian Opera House in Bucharest. This was organised by Indian Ambassador Hon.Exc. Rajiv Dogra. - Released my First Hindi album titled " Chori Chori Chup Chup" Recorded and Produced in Galati - Romania. 1999 - Performed at Diwali programme organised by the Indian community in Bucharest under the patronage of Mr Yogesh Agarwal and Mahesh Hingorani. - Performed for delegation from New Delhi who were visiting Romania. - Performed for other occasions at the Embassy and Ambassadors Residence. 2000 - Performed two Classical hindi songs in National Romanian TV. - Performed in the presence of commerce minister Of India in 2001 during his visit to Romania at Crowne Plaza Hotel - Bucharest. 2001 - Performed in Syria with the reknowned singer “Moustafa Youzbashi” songs in hindi and Arabic language. Aug - Performed on Independence Day of India for the reception organized at the Ambassadors residence. Nov - Performed for Diwali ( festival of lights) in Crowne Plaza Hotel - Bucharest. 2002 - During my visit to Syria performed again with the legendery singer Moustafa Youzbashi. March - Sang for 12 days in Crowne plaza Hotel for the "FIRST INDIAN FESTIVAL WEEK' which was organised in association with the Indian Embassy. Nov - Was invited as guest by TV1 - Bucharest for their live show "Surprised - Surprised. - Participated in many programs which Hon.Exc. Ambasador Ajai Malhotra organised on different occassions to welcome Ministry of India and delegations who visited Romania. Nov - Performed for 12 days for the Second Indian Festival Week in Crowne Plaza Hotel - Bucharest, Romania in association with Indian Embassy & Ambasador “Late Shri Jawahar Lal “ 2002 to 2003 - Performed for Mittal Steel community for different programmes in Galati-Romania. - Performed for TVR 1 to celebrate 50th year of the great Indian film Awara (Vagabodnul) scince it was first screened in Romania. 2003 - Participated in different receptions at the Indian Ambassadors Residence ” Late Shri Jawahar Lal “ with Indian delegation from New Delhi . 2004 - Been invited to India where I participated at the “Chameli Night “(traditional festival in India ) Feb 5- Was interviewed and sang for Sahara Samay, Mumbai, India. (biggest local tv) - Met reknowned singer of India “Mr Roop Kumar Rathod “ in Mumbai . Feb - Speacial Guest in “GymKhana College - Mumbai, where I was honoured to give away the prizes to the winner and perform with other students who participated. Aug - Performed for Sanjay Dutt (son of the great actress Nargis Dutt and Sunil Dutt). Aftab Shivdasani and film director Mr Punkaj Kharabanda was felicitated at this reception organised by Indian community in association with Indian Embassy in Bucharest at Crowne Plaza Hotel. He was the first director to come to shoot in Romania to shoot part of the film "Dost - my best freind". 2005 - 1st July performed for Hon.Exc. Minister of petroleum & gas and was awarded for the contribution and promoting Hindi Music in Romania. - International Festival of Music -Galati-Romania participated for Indian Evening dedicated to Indian Community from Galati “ Mittal Steel “ Aug 23 Radio Difuzion of Romania - was interviewed by Mrs Cristiana Sarbu and also sang for thier programme. Oct 2 - Performed at the Indian Ambassadors residence to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday (136 years ) where i sang Hindi Bhajans. Speacial guest for the occasion was Vice President Of India Hon.Exc. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat. - Performed for the Vice President Of India at Intercontinental Hotel,Bucharest, where his Excellancy announced scholarship for me at any Indian Institute Of Music in India,which is stil in process. . Oct - Released 2nd Album "Uski Yaadon Mein" which has both Hindi Film Songs and Romanian. Also released Video clip with my group which was televised on "Taraf Channel Music" in Romania. Dec 23 Performed Live for Christmas programme for Mega T.V Galati. ( Had my first programme and interview in Mega T.V Galati in Oct.) 2006 - Jan 26th I performed at the Ambassodors residence for Republic Day Of India. - Feb 8th was awarded "Certificate of Appreciation" at the Indian Embassy by Ambassodor Hon.Exc Ram Mohan for performing for the Vice President of India on Oct 2 and for my efforts to promote Hindi Film Songs and Indian culture in Romania. - Feb 28th was Invited as special guest in Alexandru Jula show. - March 12th Performed live in OTV. - March 12th Performed live in DDTV. - April 26th Sang live and introduced some Indian dresses in Euforia TV which was presented by Mrs Corina Danila. - April 28th Performed live at the Culture House Show which was organised by the great singer Mr Nicu Mihai and his guests. - May 10th Was speacial guest in Matinal Talk Show in Express TV - Galati. - May 12th Officialy launched my album "Uski Yaadon Mein" M-am indragostit in Braila. - May 16th Was Special guest of Aurica Totolici talk show "Pe Cararea Dorului." - May 19th and 20th performed live at the "Cultural House in Galati" - June 3rd Performed for Talk Show Alexandru Jula & his guests and Jan Paleru the famous Comedy Artist of Romania. - Sept 9th Performed for Talk show Alpha TV Ploiest. Oct 15th to Aug'07 - Went to India for Classical Vocal Training and was student of Indian Musical Institute "Bharat Natiya Gayan Mandal. During my stay in India performed many shows with my Gurus : Avinash Holkar , Deepak Ji and Shrimati Shailaja Vaze. Performed in Pune , Daund , Bharamati and Mumbai. 2007 -Oct 7th performed live for talk show - Alex Jula & friends along with Jan Paler. - Nov 11th performed live at the "Jula and his guests" show along with Ilie Micolov, Jan Paler, Mirabela Dauer, Raol & Alex Jula. - Nov 13th Performed live at Maruta talk show - Dec 12th Performed live at the Divertisment show on Kanal D which was presented by Mugur Mihaescu .
