Tara Jenkins

Background: I have been in music to some degree for nearly 30 years. Serving as a worship leader, and speaker and performing at concerts and conferences. I have always had music in my life to some degree, and was trained in vocals by some of the best local artists and talents, who have since gone on to Broadway musicals, and have become top artists in their field. My father owned an art studio growing up, and so music and art were an everyday occurance, I have grown to appreciate so much the talented people who have taught me so much, both in life and in music. I have three grown children, and a supportive wonderful husband, and I am looking forward to the coming days with growing expectation!!

Interests: I am a very ecclectic girl, and it shows up in my style both personaly and vocally. I have a wide vocal range, and tend to float in styles of music, from Gospel to big band, from bluegrass to soft rock, I love it all, and stick it into my ever changing sound! I love people, and want to make my life knit into theirs, by infusing faith, hope and the the love of God I feel and know into them! My interests outside of music, are family, friends,and making jewelry, exotic pieces with real stones. i love adventure, so will pretty much take a trip on a whim to o something fun, new or challenging, like a few months back I flew a bi- plane! loved it!!!!!

Goals: I am pretty purpose driven at this point,spreading my wings in whatever direction and following whatever door opens, as I know my calling - which is to sing and speak, and to reach people with the love of Christ..I do this by being as real and down to earth as possible, and by infusing that into others.. My goal for the future? Moving into my calling,and fulfilling my purpose , I don't want to just be a record maker though,I want to infuse people to make a difference with their lives!!!!We all have a purpose, what are we here for? Make a mark.
