Background: The former Executive Director of an educational nonprofit specializing in out of school time quality improvement, KellyAnn Bonnell brings an eclectic knowledge base to arts education. She now consults with individual artists and arts organizations helping them embrace their role in arts education and arts for social change. Bonnell helps artists translate what they do into something they can teach in schools, after school programs and youth organizations, which can be a way to pay the rent while still acting, playing music ect. Part of making it in the entertainment industry is understanding how to find the schools, how to speak their language and how to find the money that is going to pay you as an artist. A costume artist in her own right, she began her career in entertainment in 1985. Since that time her work has graced the stages of educational and professional theatre as well as film.
