The Sunset Warriors are a female-fronted, independent rock band based in San Francisco, California. Describing their sound as "neo-soul piano pop," The Sunset Warriors are clearly influenced by the beauty and diversity of the City. Started in 2010 by a couple of students (SFSU, UCB), The Sunset Warriors combine the pep and pop of Broadway with the soul of blues and classic rock to create a unique and powerful musical sound. Performing original tracks across the Bay Area, from bars like The Hotel Utah and Milk, to events like the 2012 Battle of the Bands and the 2012 Palo Alto International Film Festival, The Sunset Warriors have been compared to artists ranging from The Black Keys and No Doubt to The Yeah Yeah Yeah's and Joan Baez.
