Squeeky Plus is an established singer and songwriter. As a native of St. Thomas, Jamaica he began performing at the tender age of ten, where he entered in various local talent shows within his community. He lived in an area not exactly noted for a fertile reggae scene, and miles away from any major recording studios and recording labels, however he was determined to become an international dancehall/reggae artist. Squeeky Plus musical influences are reggae artist such as, Bushman, Bob Marley, and elephant man, Sean Paul just to name a few. In the summer of 2000 Squeeky Plus migrated to the United Stated and moved to Poughkeepsie, New York. In 2001 he exploded on to the music scene forming is first group called “So Poor” with group member Juvignzalez. So Poor gain the notoriety from local promotes and were giving the opportunity to performed with artists such as Sean Paul ,Mr. Vegas,Tanto Metro and Devonte, Risco Bengie, and Slogie ranks just to name a few. In 2003 both members decided to part ways to pursue their career. In 2004 Squeeky Plus formed another group which consists of himself and recording artist Yankee. In the summer of 2004 the group put out hit single titled "Girl You a Di Hottest Ting Around" which was played by Mr. Vince of Kiss 96.1. Instead of glorifying crimes in his music, Squeeky Plus dedicates to being a positive role model for the youth to follow. "I have been through a lot in my life but I don’t feel the need to express it in my music”. With his vibrant and outgoing demeanor and an unforgettable stage presence have all transformed this St.Thomas native into what he is right now. In 2007 Squeeky Plus debut his solo album title “Let Dance” Squeeky collaborates with a local artist champagne on the single is called "Lets Dance", This single can be describe as a high tempo, with a catchy hook, and it is sure to have the listener partying and letting loose. "This track is perfect for the dancehall. He also collaborates with producer Billy Badass on the track title "Here for You" he deejays about the hardships many couple faces and the work it takes to maintain a serious relationship. This single was the opening and closing song at the 2007 International Reggae World Music Awards, which was held at the Apollo Theater, in New York City. Squeeky Plus music brings a new innovative flavor to the dancehall/reggae scene. With one of his single off his upcoming album receiving worldwide recognition and praise from his critics, Squeeky is on his way.
