DeAndre “Lil Chiz” Chisholm is an 18 year old rapper with, a message that needs to be heard. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Paramount, Lil Chiz is the baby in his family. Growing up in a home with his Mom, Dad, 3 brothers, one sister; Life was strict considering the fact that he started out as somewhat of a trouble maker when he was younger. As he got older the influence of his parents and old brother, Big Chiz, along with his love for music had a positive impact on his life. Another inspiration in his life was at the age of 12 when his grandmother passed away. He was devastated and that made him start writing music and poetry. When asked what he likes most about being an artist, Lil Chiz, Says, Performing, the reactions of my fans when they hear my music, recording, and expressing myself the joy it brings me and others. Lil Chiz started rapping One Day when him and a couple of my close friends he calls the bros sat down in his living room and began writing to instrumentals. They became fascinated with the way they rhymed and how their music was coming together. It was then that they started their own group Called Y&D (Young & Dominant). The group lasted then Lil Chiz broke off from the group and started making his own music thus bringing him to where he is today. He has been rapping about 5 or 6 years now. This young rapper gets is musical inspiration from two of the Greatest rapper today, Tupac and Biggie, also little bit of Run DMC, Kid & Play, and many more. When Lil Chiz is not rapping he likes to play Basketball, party with friends and family, and help others with their music, by engineering others as they rap. His Story sounds kind of normal so, when Lil Chiz was asked, what makes him different from other rappers, He replies, “I’m unique, versatile, and I do music because I love it not for the fame. I tend to try and paint vivid pictures with my music and talk about things that are going on in teenage lives now such as love and relationship problems. It is safe to say that this young rapper has a good head on his shoulders and is destined to be on top.
