Triip grew was born in and raised in seattle wa in a gang neighborhood. He saw a lot of violence and drug activity at a young age wich he soon took part in. He dropped out of school at 17 years old right before his child was born. Triip took his knowledge and experience from the streets and put it into music. Shortly after he started making music he gained a large fan base in his home town. At the age of 19 he is still has a larger fan base then a lot of musicians years older in the area.
