"I'm from Stockholm, Sweden and grew up surrounded by music. When I was a child there was always music in our house so I was listening to a real mix of artists like Louis Armstrong, Joni Mitchell, Billy Holiday, Neil Young and The Beatles. I kept asking my parents for a guitar at Christmas and eventually they got me one, this was one of the happiest days of my life. That guitar became like a best friend who I could go with into my own little world. After playing a couple of my own songs at a school concert I knew that I wanted to write, record and play my own music. I had been writing my own songs for a couple of years when a music journalist got to hear some of them. Their reaction and comments were so positive that I began recording an album in my bedroom! From offers through Myspace and Youtube I got to play in UK, Denmark, Norway and Germany. I've spent most of 2011 recording with some great producers in Sweden for my first proper album. The title of the album is Beautiful Day and it will be released in Spring 2012. Thank you to everybody for all your wonderful messages of support through my website over the last year or so. I'm really looking forward to playing these songs live and hopefully will see some of you along the way" Love... Josefina
