Jon Henninger is a musician with a contagious enthusiasm for seeing people of all ages identify with the positive message that drives his music. In addition to many contemporary Christian songs, he is the writer and artist behind the new powerful and inspiring American anthem, WE WILL STAND. Recorded in June of 2010, WE WILL STAND has quickly gained national recognition in being used by FOX SPORTS, the St. Louis Cardinals, and added by a number of Country, Christian, and AC radio stations. From May through November of 2010 Jon and his band were part of over 40 events across the United States leading worship events, performing, and opening for CCM artist Jeremy Camp. In September Jon was presented with the Patriot Award by the Illinois National Guard for the support WE WILL STAND is bringing to the American Armed Forces. Also in September, Jon performed live at the Washington Monument in Washington D.C. as part of a September 11th memorial event. Jon can be found leading worship at Central Christian Church, Mount Vernon, IL most Fridays and Sundays, as well as performing at events of all kinds across the country throughout the year.
