JIM NASTIC AKA JIM BROWN - born Paul Sinclair in Kingston Jamaica, original Studio One Dj. Jim Brown's musical career started in 1976 when he use to hang out at dancehalls and soundsystems such as Smiths the Weapon HiFi, Peoples Choice and El Ringo Disco. In 1981 under the Studio One label songs like Calypso Calypso, Ragga Muffin a combination with Devon Russell, 'Kipling' in 1983, 'see him deh', 'on mi mind', 'jam it up tight', 'Reggae Galore' . Also, 'dem a pirate' and 'minister fi ganga', combinations with Rappa Robert also on the studio one label.. In 1986 'chaunting' album and many more. Worked alongside Jah Thomas on the Midnight Rock Label. In 1986 passed through Youthman Promotion. He has toured Bermuda and the USA and in 2000 toured France.Recently an album called 'real nastic'. He is still involved with many sounds to date including Down Beat, African Love Disco, Crystal Image to name but a few. More recently in 2011 performed in Finland alongside Carlton Livingston, Alpheus and Lone Ranger. In July 2011 represented Studio One at the Grance Festival in France and shared the stage with Willie Williams, Carlton Livingston, Lone Ranger, Alpheus, Dillinger and Burning Spear to name but a few ...Still Preforms and produces music to date...



Paul 'Jim Brown' Sinclair emcees after his performance at the Stardust Ballroom, New York, at a dancehall stage show. The show featured established dancehall artistes such as Pinchers, Admiral Bailey, Pliers, Louie Rankin and many others. Clinton Lindsay of Tamika Production staged the event. 1987.
