The nickname Jimmy B comes from his middle name being James and his last name being Bravo. Jimmy B's music is an Electro Rap Fusion, basically a mix of Electro, Hip Hop, Rap, and House. Jimmy B currently resides in Victorville, California. His music is typically fast paced and great for the Club/Party/Dance scene.Jimmy B started rapping at the age of 11 when he used to hear songs on the radio and he would switch the lyrics up. 2 years later at the age of 13, Jimmy B found a computer mic in the garage and started recording himself over Windows Sound Recorder. Looping the same beat over and over again and coming up with different words that rhymed. Many Artists that influenced him at the time was the usual Bone Thugs, Tupac, Biggie, Snoop Dogg, NWA, Lil Flip etc. Jimmy B was then introduced to LimeWire a year later, Opening the door for Instrumentals and other rappers mixtapes. Triple Six Mafia immediatly caught Jimmy B's attention with their dark sound. They became a main influence to Jimmy B with their tounge twisting flows. Jimmy B formed a rap group with 3 other friends from High School which led to Jimmy B producing and writing songs for the group. The group released 3 songs and after that went their own ways.With a change in age, style and friends, Jimmy B started producing party music and music that had to do with everyday life in the party scene. During this time Jimmy B promoted house parties and his music. The Party Scene quickly became repetitive and there was always the risk of getting a ticket for throwing house parties. He then moved up to the Club Scene, where he sat behind the DJ booth and quickly fell back in love with Techno, which was one of Jimmy B's favorite genres since he was in elementary school. Jimmy B promoted his own club night and packed the venue and realized he had a small following. But with the economy being messed up and the venue being so terribly ugly, his following disappeared, and so did Jimmy B.After Graduating High School and going to College, Jimmy B realized that school wasn't his thing, but music was. Jimmy B produces, writes, and raps on his own music. Making him stand out from alot of rappers in the 760. Also because Jimmy B loves being original, he enjoys making his own sound that is different from the rest. After all the Club/Rave experiences, Jimmy B has alot more to tell about partying, and is working on building his following back up.
