Refreshing and eclectic are two of the easiest ways to describe the artist known as JeRome. His music transcends genres, generational gaps, cultures and every other barrier that it’s set before. JeRome’s musical style can be described as music that inspires life, love and liberty. “The goal that I set for every song that I write and record is for it to SHOW LOVE and SHARE HOPE”, states JeRome as he attempts to describe his musical style in which he normally leaves up to his listeners and fans to decided on their own terms. “I just want to make good, life-long music…that’s all”, say JeRome. JeRome’s main musical inspirations are Gungor Band, PJ Morton, Michael Jackson, Beyonce’, Jill Scott and BeBe & CeCe Winans to name a few. Although this is a diverse listing of artists, one could now get a scope of JeRome’s musical direction. “It’s not Gospel, it’s not POP, it’s not even classified as Inspirational…I call it LIFE music”, adamantly states JeRome, “There’s enough of the other stuff. I want people to hear my music and it affects their inner emotions, soul and entire being and causes them to think, dream, discover, be exposed and LIVE.” Over the years JeRome has had an inside look into the music industry being afforded many opportunities to work with many of the music industry greats through various programs, internships and other favorable opportunities. JeRome has opened for a plethora of artist of many genres at festivals, concerts, musicals and other shows. JeRome enjoys song writing, graphic designing, social networking, traveling and motivating youth to discover their gifts and to follow their dreams.
