Born June 20, 1986 in Pittsburgh, PA. Jaye Connor is truly a new breed of Pop artist. Not only does he write Pop music, but Jaye Connor also boasts a host of talents, producing, writing and engineering in both English and Spanish. His ability to effectively blend and excel in genres such as Reggaeton, Merenegue, Salsa, Hip-Hop and R&B allows him to reach a much broader audience than the average artist. Piggybacking his recent project ‘itsconnor.com’ Jaye Connor will be releasing a Pop/Hip-Hop Mixtape entitled ‘Girls &Alcohol’ on October 4th, 2011. The project will feature both original and remix tracks from the pre-released ‘itsconnor.com’. This project will be made available in similar online outlets as it's preceding project. Show dates, radio appearances and interviews are pending and under negotiation through Jaye Connor’s label; The Y and I Music Group. In the past, Jaye Connor has been fortunate enough to be part of a few marquee events, such as opening for the ‘Godfather of Soul’, James Brown in 2007. In the same year he headlined in Viva 105.7's(Atlanta Radio) summer concert series, 'Vivaton!'. Along with hosting a spanish language television show entitled ‘Hablemos Politicas’ and opening for numerous, big name Reggaeton artists, Jaye Connor has managed to distribute more than 2,300 copies of ‘itsconnor.com’ through his own effort. In upcoming months, Jaye Connor plans to more than triple his previous accomplishments. He is currently in negotiations for a short film, which will provide him the opportunity to make his on screen debut. He is also planning to become involved with a number of charities; especially charities involving parents who have lost children, as this is a cause which is close to his heart. With so much planned for the upcoming months, 2012 is certain to be an exciting year for both Jaye Connor and his listeners.
