The journey of faith has been a long one for gospel rap artist Gemices Royale. His journey began after giving up secular music with long time friend/artist Duble OO and Fresh Werkx Ent. founder Certified in the year 2009 due to being a lukewarm Christian. What pushed him to go all in for Christ was that infamous bar in Jay-Z's Empire State Of Mind song, "Jesus can't save you, life starts when the church ends" and being put in many other situations where he had to claim Christ in front of men or deny him. "Those type of situations were really a blessing to me," he expressed joyfully. "I was made to either stand for the faith or be an apostate basically. I had a lot of choices to make as far as to keep being Easter Christian or a bond servant for Christ. I could've went to hell, but GOD's grace to allow me to build a personal relationship with Christ before I could see death." In the summer of 2010, he got back in the studio with a new drive and new zeal for Christ and began working on his debut album entitled "Conviction Music" which features his brothers in Christ Brion Martin, Joshua Williams along with many other brothers and sisters in the faith. The album's lead single "Spread That Gospel" is a catchy tune with the authentic message of the gospel where Gemices Royale says," I'm unashamed, homie I'm never lame/When it comes to the gospel, I don't play games/These cats need to hear the message bout the Savior/Cause the price he paid for us to live, it was major." The albums second single, "Access Denied" talks about the ultimate consequence of not excepting Christ which is HELL!
