Ceasefire, a California based band, has captured our attention with their first single, ‘This Love Will Tear Us Apart’. Yes, it’s a song title that reminds us of Joy Division, but this song sounds nothing like ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’. Known for their arresting vocal melodies and crafted guitar hooks, which can be described as combined music styles from new wave 80′s and 90′s with modern music. If you like Coldplay and U2, you will really enjoy this track. We look forward to their next single, ‘Heartache’, projected for release November 2011. "Ceasefire woke us up as lead singer Ray Alexander jumped from behind side stage and attacked the mic with an amazing outcry of high pitch vocals.
