My name is Crystal Campbell and I live in the great state of Texas. I consider myself a "Late Bloomer." I chose not to go to college after high school, and began a family and corporate career instead. Twenty years later, I finally know what I want to be now that I have grown up. My passion is photography. I have always loved to take pictures, but only saw it as a hobby. In the course of building my corporate career, my passion for photography was placed on the back burner for many years. When I became unsatisfied with the politics of "Corporate America," I quit working to stay home with my kids. In July 2009, I was bitten by the shutter bug once again. This time it was different. I could see that photography was much more than just snapping a few family pictures... it was art. My goal is to capture nature and people, in an image, as I see them through my own eyes. I want my photography to bring awareness of the world around us in a "stop and smell the roses" kind of way. My long term goal is to have a photo art gallery someday.
