Born and raised in Houston,Tx Jose Abel Loredo began playing the trombone at the age of 17 and quickly grasped the concept of his instrument. As a gifted musician his talent could not go unnoticed and earned himself a full scholarship to attend Texas Southern University. Through being exposed to many different genres at the university it allowed him to develop his own soulful sound on the trombone. As a professional Trombonist Jose has shared the stage and performed with artist such as Bun B, The O-Jays, Tank, Ledisi , Dallas Blocker, Kirk Whalum , George Duke, Everett Harp, Joe Sample, Andre Hayward and many others. In the summer of 2011 he landed a world tour with four time grammy award winner Marcos Witt one the biggest and most influential artist in the world of Latin Gospel. Currently, Jose is pursuing his bachelor's degree in jazz performance while living his life as a freelance composer, musician, and recording artist.
