Brittany Batson is a psalmist and songwriter with a devoted heart towards the progression of Christ’s kingdom. With her sound often described as universal friendly, this Christian recording artist and worship leader possesses the total package from an anointed ministry, an attractive personality to a global marketability. Her personable style and sincerity, pure passion for worship, and wellspring of God-given talents are easily distinguished along with her psalmist’s heart and sincere desire to serve God and His people. Birthed in Houston and reared in Tyler, Texas, Batson grew up under the influences of Gospel music and began singing at the tender age of five in a Baptist choir. Her creative journey began as a journalist, shortly after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas; which in turn sharpened her songwriting abilities. After relocating to Los Angeles and yielding her life to the workings of the Holy Spirit, she quickly recognized a higher call to evangelize and minister in the vein of praise and worship. Now accredited as a certified worship leader through ICCM (International Congress of Churches and Ministers), she currently assists in leading a young adult congregation in spirit filled praise and worship at West Angeles Church in Los Angeles, has co-partnered in worship leading at other Los Angeles based ministries, and has been a featured artist for various events. Her musical experiences range from live performances on nationally televised shows to background vocals and professional sessions for major label recording artists. In addition to music, Brittany Batson has landed national television commercial appearances, feature roles in hit stage plays, and has recently captivated audiences in Jinan, China with various roles in the musical theatre piece “American Reflections: Broadway in Concert” and Otis Sallid’s “Gospel, Gospel, Gospel” in Los Angeles. Currently Brittany Batson has recently released her debut album, “One Way” which is filled with narrative lyrics, impressionable testimonies and most importantly, the message of the gospel. The inspirational classic “My Prayer” has been featured on national radio stations in bicoastal markets, and her single “Amazing” drives home a spirit-filled praise for the contemporary Christian sound. Her hope is that people will be inspired and influenced by this ministry in that culture lines will be crossed and barriers broken for the nations to experience salvation and the true love of Jesus together.
