Keith Harris (born October 18th, 1982), better known by his stage name B.A.R.S. MURRE, is an up and coming east coast rapper. Born and raised in Burlington, New Jersey by his two parents, a young Keith Harris looked to hip hop for closure. "Musicians are born, not raised" says B.A.R.S. MURRE. In late 88', B.A.R.S. MURRE became acquainted with Artist's such as Eric B and Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, A Tribe Called Quest, Beastie Boys,and Run DMC. At this point, hip hop became a way for a young Keith to vent through. Becoming a part of the hip hop lifestyle was too much for his family to handle. Stereotyped as a "white rapper" B.A.R.S. MURRE stepped away from music to peruse other ventures in life. For years, B.A.R.S. MURRE was known to be the funny guy, playing around in the studio and spitting rhymes amongst producers and rappers. In late 08' friends convinced him to take a shot at the music industry. In early 2009, B.A.R.S. MURRE realized that hip hop would allow him to express himself freely. Late December 09', B.A.R.S. MURRE prepared to drop his first mix-tape "That's Why They Don't Like Me". Early 2010 was a fresh start for him; officially known as B.A.R.S. MURRE to the world, "That's Why They Don't Like Me" became a success online and in the streets within months. Generating more than 15,000 downloads and reaching tons of supporters in the streets. Since early 2010, B.A.R.S. MURRE has dropped 15 videos on youtube.com/barsmurre, datpiff.com, worldstarhiphop.com, vladtv.com, and many other hip hop websites; generating 70,000+ views. As of April 2011, B.A.R.S. MURRE is preparing to drop his second mix tape "Go Lay Down", summer 2011.
