Born on November 30, 1976 and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, to parents Rundle Sr. (deceased) and Cassandra Brockman, Anitra Brockman aka "Ni Ni" realized she wanted to sing at the young age of 5 when she was standing in the mirror everyday singing with her hairbrush as a microphone. She grew up in the baptist church, and was very active in the youth choir and young adult choir. Being a single mother of 3 proved to be very challenging for Anitra and she had to deal with homelessness, job loss, no transportation and more...However, with her strong faith in God, she was able to persevere and completed a MBA in Business Administration, and has plans to complete a Doctoral degree in Education. God has worked some wonders in Anitra’s life, and she is so grateful everyday for the vocal gift God has given her to share with others. She sings not to impress anyone, but her Savior and Lord, and will continue to spread His word through song. Her stage name is "Ni Ni" which means "favored grace" in Hebrew. Anitra Brockman has recently released her debut gospel CD project entitled “Brand New Me”. The album released on 11-30-10 and the CD first released single "Tears Are Dry" released on 11-1-10. Anitra Brockman is inspired by many Contemporary Christian and Gospel artists such as Cincinnati’s own Nicole C. Mullen, CeCe Winans, Kirk Franklin, Crystal Lewis, Martha Munizzi and too many more to name. In her spare time, Anitra enjoys spending time with her 3 children (Janele, Janae, Jordan), and her closest friends.
