Achrijoli(pronounced Ah-KREE-jolie) the singer, songwriter, and producer we've all been waiting for! Although her main musical genre(s) of music is Pop/R&B, she dabbles in Rock and Hip-Hop. She Aalso has a 5-octave vocal range! Achrijoli, known also by her given name - Angela Perry - was born in Southfield, MI and raised in Wyandotte, MI, though she currently residesin Millington, TN. Achrijoli's entire internet fanbase consists of 1,667,800 spread over 109 countries. Part of which includes her twitter followers, which includes, but is not limited to President Barack Obama, Lady Gaga, Gibson Guitar, ReverbNation, Def Jam Records, Island Def Jam Records, and Interscope Records. Achrijoli is currently working at gaining the attention of a major recording label. Achrijoli recently released her self-written/self-produced debut album entitled, "Coming To The Stage" available on iTunes and Amazon Mp3! She is currently in the promotion stage with "Coming To The Stage" as well as working on her second album (Untitled). Achrijoli began cultivating her fanbase in early 2008, posting videos of herself covering songs by famous artists such as Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, whom she also cites as her main musical influences. It wasn't until 2011 that she began writing and producing her own original songs and posting them on sites like myspace, soundcloud, and where she was first introduced to the world - youtube! So far Achrijoli has had 3 #1 singles - "It's You", "Control" and "Ex-Factor". Six of her songs have debuted in the top 10. Achrijoli's first single "Control" Debuted at #2 on Jamwave's Electronica Chart, and within 24 hours shot to #1 and stayed there for 9 weeks at first.After the release of her second single "Come Back To Me" , "Control" dropped to the second spot only to switch places with "Come Back To Me" and return to #1 within 3 days and spend 2 more weeks at #1; that happened twice, allowing "Control" to spend a total of 13 weeks at #1. While completing her album "Coming To The Stage", she instituted a reformed version of twitter's #MusicMonday, by releasing links to her own songs, where as others such as Justin Timberlake and a few other participants tweet links to other musician's music or previous releases of their own. After Achrijoli redefined #MusicMonday by laying a brand new track every Monday. Artists such as Paul Wall and Soulja Boy,have joined the band wagon by releasing a new song every week! Aforementioned, Achrijoli is pursuing a recording contract from a major record label. She has been offered many contracts by Independent Labels, but that's not how she planned her approach to the music industry. Achrijoli's dream is to attain the level of stardom of artists such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, and Nicki Minaj. She knows it's not going to be easy, but Achrijoli is "ready to grab the bull by its horns" and take "Control"!
