POEM - Broken - Adi Cox - 6th June 2012 -

Broken\n\n\'Mirror, mirror off the wall \nhow did you come to drop and fall? \n\nWith silver slithers of pointed glass \nhow did this moment come to pass. \n\nThe telling crash of noise abound \na multitude of division found \n\nstrewn across a slippery floor, \nyou fell and now you are no more \n\nthan a memory of what used to be. \nA reflection now you cannot see\'. \n\nShe went out of her window. \nSmashed her mind \nlike a pain of glass. \nWhen she spoke \nit was like sharp glass \nall around me, \nher clear cut logic \ncut deep with transparency. \n\nDisasters say so much, \nso clearly and precisely \nbut with such profound impact \nas to never to come out nicely.\n\nAdrian Cox
