POEM - Fiendish Little Circles - Adi Cox - 6th June 2012 -

Fiendish Little Circles\n\nFollowing footsteps \nfaintly in the snow, \nI\'ve got the scent \nI know which way to go. \n\nFiendish little monster \nsmells like food. \nOver fields, into woods \nI look behind every tree. \n\nThe scent is strong \nI expect it will jump out, \nI hear myself breathing \nwhilst quietly looking about. \n\nSuddenly in my face \na smiling circle with a frown, \nI smack him over the head \nterminally beat him down. \n\nLeft in excited shock \nI\'m ready to eat, \nstarting at the bottom \nwith its candy flavoured feet. \n\nI feel other monsters \nwatching from afar, \neyes blinking in the darkness \nlittle bar stewards!\n\nAdrian Cox
