Poem - Glass Beach - EMO Adi - 15th January 2012 --

Glass Beach\n\nWaves gently crash \nin distant froths salty brine \non drawback sand. \n\nBeach pebbles rattle \nsmooth curved and worn \nupon shoreline wash. \n\nPeople gossip. \nsaunter back to vans \nfull of sandy hope \n\nand scratched legs \nwith brush off hands \non sunburn red. \n\nFish swim batter fat \nto be served with chips \nand curry pot sauce. \n\nAn alcoholic sea \nlaps upon a beach \nof glass broken bottles.\n\nAdrian Cox
