Leanne Sullivan

Background: I am 43 years old, married. I have recently gotten into photography and have just fallen in love with it. I am a certified scuba diver, which is my other passion. So I combined the two, and I have my specialty certification in underwater photography. I came very close to losing the ability to dive a few years ago when I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. But after surgery and two years out of the water and working with a doctor that specializes in dive medicine, I am now back in the water. You don’t realize how much you value something until you almost lose it. I look at that experience as one of the best things that ever could have happened to me because it made me look and realize what really is important in life and to not put off doing the things that we love. So in saying that, I have really thrown myself in to photography and I am loving it. I still feel like that blind squirrel that finds a nut, but it really is FUN.
