It is very sad that Joy Mukherjee is no more with us. He was 73 was the paternal uncle of actors Kajol and Tanisha Mukherjee. Over a span of 18 years, Joy acted in 27 films including hits like Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon and Ek Musafir Ek Hasina. He made his debut opposite Sadhana in Love in Simla. Following that, he paired with Asha Parekh for several hits like Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon, Love in Tokyo and Ziddi. Popular for his boyish looks and onscreen charm, his stardom faded away with the emergence of newer superstars. Paying a tribute with one of his beaufiful songs from the film Humsaya (1968), sung by Rafi Sahab, Composed by O. P. Nayyar and written by Shevan Rizvi. My his soul rest in peace.
