The listeners of music all over the world wish happy birthday to the Great Mohammad Rafi Sahab on 24th December, 2011. The noble soul had left his admirers 31 years ago. Yet he is alive in numerous everlasting hit songs which are heard and cherished for generations. Any given song, any mood, any artiste, any music director, any lyricist, Rafi Sahab breathed life into every song and sang with the same dedication and sincerity. He was God’s voice…Khuda Ki Awaaz. I present my humble tribute in my own little way to this legendary Rafi Sahab with a nice romantic song from the film Aman with Saira Bano, music by Shanker Jaikishan and lyrics by Shailendra. There will be only one Rafi Sahab, a true genius and will be remembered forever. Long Live Rafi Sahab!
