An English version was also made and the same tune was used for a hindi song \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Gawah hai, chand taaren Gawah hai\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" in the film Damini, I had been singing this since my childhood as I am born and brought up in Africa, Tanzania. Malaika is an Angel in kiswahili and the lover says that I love you my angel and I will do anything for you! My humble attempt to this nice song sung originally by Mirium Makeba.
