Erin Potts : Hey...it's me...Erin...you know...the moderator? :D Well, I kinda wanted to get a discussion going...so I thought camera equipment would be a good place to start. Hmmm...let's see...I have a Pentax K7 w/ a 28-80mm lens and a 100-300mm lens...a tripod (which I haven't used yet)...and some polarizers (I 've only used one since I got the camera in May)...and...that's about it. ...I've pretty much just stuck mostly to my 28-80 lens and my one polarizer when I shoot my landscape/nature scenery. They've given me some great pictures...but I'm really curious what other people are using and what works best for them...so let the posting begin! (...er,hopefully! :D )

    : Hi Erin and Jamie...
I shoot with a Pentax D* ist. My lenes are the 18-35 mm that came in the kit and I bought pentax 50-200 mm lens as well. I shoot mainly candids, animals, architecture and product photo-illustrations. I have to say, the 18-35 mm lens is awesome because it is a wide angle lens and excellent for my architecture and event photography.

I also have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 - 8.5 mp camera with the Leica Lens DC Vario-ELMAR 1.33-4.9/4.7-47 ASPH lens and I LOVE THIS CAMERA... an excellent range for traveller zooming shots too..
    THANKS for asking...
