Arthur Quicho : Hi, I'm Art a beginner in photography. I love to take photograph using an ordinary compact digital camera. I find it difficult understanding and using editng software. Any tips or suggestion on what software appropriate for beginners like me would be a great help. I'll be uploading some images soon hope you'll check and give comments so that i can improve my skills in photography.

Robert Corral : Photoshop is a must. but i guess for a beginner trying to learn their way i have found some simple interfaces on Mac from Pixelmator, iPhoto and Aperture. I dont know if anybody else has suggestions on the pc side but eventually you should get very friendly wit photoshop. here is a site with lots of resources and info.

Kendra Bobbitt : i dont use any sort of editing at home but in school we use photoshop like he said ^^

Stephane Bazin : Photoshop is the one! for practice and understanding some basic change try to get lightroom it's pretty similar to photoshop (since it is from Adobe) plus you'll find all sort of tutorials on youtube.
