Background: Hello and Thank you for Watching my Demo video. My name is Walter Sawan. I am a red seal chef who has been in the food industry for 11 years now. I have done all types of jobs in restaurants, from starting out in the dish pit to sous chef of a 3 mil a year restaurant to front of house Management, I\'ve taught classes on how to feed a family of 4 dinner for 10 bucks, and filmed and edited my very own series of cooking video\'s. The experience that I have gained from just one year of living in Vancouver is astounding. from all the cooking and trying my hand at acting, I have been in a few student projects for experience, one a commcerial where I was 4 characters in one 30 second shot and I was in a music video nov 29th for a rock band. Lot\'s of fun and lots of learning about how to be aware of the camera. I am a lover of all things food, I go out to as many restaurants and food stands that catch my nose. To try and get some insight into whatever cuisine I happen to be eating. Be it a steaming hot Japadog, a mouth watering Shawarma from the Babylon Cafe on Robson Street, or the bold flavors of the Mexidog. Who can forget all the great things to be eaten at the Granville Island Market. The flavor combination\'s are endless, just here in our city of Vancouver. I would love the opportunity to taste my way through the rest of North America.
Goals: My biggest goal is to open my own Restaurant \"Bina\'s Grill\" a Southwestern Contemporary restaurant with a nice unpretentious feel that you can actually relax and enjoy your meal with out feeling judged ;).
