Background: Maurice “MO G” Gowdy and Corey “Sammy Cain” Sampson came together in 2002 to form the successful independent label, BlueHouse Records. With the conception of their label the two Mississippi natives would set out to create the new sound of the “Sip”. Their unique sound is very spiritual and rich in rhythm and blues, which is a direct reflection of their Mississippi roots. With the huge success of their three independent releases Sammy Cain and Mo G have become the most sought after group in Mississippi. BlueHouse Records has positioned themselves for a huge year with several projects slated for release. Including the highly anticipated solo effort from Sammy Cain. Also be on the look out for the Mo G and Sammy Cain collabo “Tha Coast Is Clear." Their current release "Put Tha House On It Vol. I" is having a massive impact along the southern region and highlights the talents of up and coming artist such as Sleepy HollowHead, Child, and C-MO.
