iPad 2 Shipped from China: Numerous Issues [Backlight Leaks, Rotates on it's Own, and more]

Well it's here, it's glorious, and it's... here.

The Apple iPad 2: fresh off the FedEx truck and opened without a moment to spare. Caught some issues with my black 16gb WiFi model. Figured I'd post them on the net to see if anyone else has these ever so slight complaints.

I'll brief you on the issues I'm having and post some photos and videos tonight.

BACKLIGHT LEAK

Just like a few have reported with iPads purchased in the store, I'm also having the light leak issue. Two small spots on the top of the device, and a bigger one on the bottom left. Now I can't get my office pitch black, but even just holding it under my desk with a black screen on, I see them. Tonight will determine how bad they really are.

ROTATING ISSUE

Now I haven't heard this one. And maybe it's not a big deal. But I certainly noticed it. While laying on a flat surface, it's MUCH MUCH MUCH easier to rotate the iPad landscape in a counter-clockwise motion than a clockwise motion. To explain it without a video, if laying on a perfectly flat surface, i only need to lift the left side of the iPad an inch off my desk to start it rotating counter-clockwise while, if trying to rotate it the other direction, the iPad need AT LEAST FOUR TO FIVE INCHES to start it rotating.

The ccw direction is SO SENSITIVE that if i lay my iPad on the desk and slide it to the right, IT WILL ROTATE ON IT'S OWN. Anyone else with this issue?

DEBRIS UNDER THE GLASS

I have a decent size piece of black... something under the glass but not on the LCD level. It's about the size of 2-3 pixels which, at first, I mistook for a dead pixel. Upon closer examination, it seems it's just a piece of junk under the glass that more than likely won't be moving unless maybe the fine folks at the Apple Store can fish it out. I'd blast the sucker with some good ol' air-in-a-can, but I fear damaging the insides.

In closing, I'm already in love with this sucker. It's awesome and so worth the cash. No, I didn't have the original and I'll also assume the upgrade might not have been worth it. Just wondering if anyone else has these issues that I'm having and, possibly, if in masses, will Apple will have anything to say about it.
