Things goin on at this moment in my life...

Ok, so I moved from Idaho to come back to California where I grew up. I am currently living with my parents in their little house but thats ok, because its better then the streets. While I am here with my wife and 4 kids, I decided to start going after the brass ring and trying to get into music here...sadly there isnt much but I do have some prospects. Lots of people who want to jam but never actually can commit to it. I have a buddy I knew years ago named Neil, he has a band here locally and they have been playing some clubs, Neil is one of the best if not the best guitar players I have ever known personally. He wrote all the groups music, problem is, he is also their lead singer..which doesnt bode well because he never gets to concentrate on his playing.
Luckily, he has asked me to come sing for them and see if I can front the group while he gets on with the guitar playing. Tuesday I will be going to listen to the band so I will know more by then, but until then lets all keep me in their prayers as I would really like to help these good guys out and sing for em. Also, there is a couple of other guys who would like me to sing for their Stevie Ray Vaughan / Jimi Hendrix tribute band. I love it! Only problem is, they are just starting out and the practices are pretty scarce. I fear they may not be as serious about it as I would be. But never the less I am going to help em out and see if it goes anywhere.
I never considered myself a singer sort, but alot of people insist I am so with that, I hope if you do get to hear my music, that you enjoy it and come away with something Until next time!
