A slightly updated version of a work-in-progress song I had previously posted here. \"Nashville\" was a song I started writing lyrics for while on a plane coming back from a work-related trip to the city in 2006. The words and music of the chorus are pretty much what I had in my head early on, but in order to fill out the verses, I wound up writing lyrics literally mentioning how I started writing the lyrics on a plane (although I took creative license and said I started writing on the flight down to Nashville). Anyway, this 2012 version includes re-recorded vocals and some added backing vocals in the chorus that I attempted...but kind of regretting now. I also added a faux guitar solo coming out of the bridge.
