Background: Paris Carvey developed his love of fine and performing arts in childhood, studying painting under the tutelage of famous Russian painter Natasha Koshelkova and taking his award-winning historic dramatization of Ghandi to the state finals at History Day in Sacramento. After serving in the Marine Corps as a Sergeant of Marines during Operation Enduring Freedom he returned to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. He worked as an actor, performing on television and film. Paris§ unique style of art has been exhibited at several galleries and shows in Los Angeles under the Junk Style name. He has worked as production manager for Eddie Van Halen, coached acting for AIG Productions in Honolulu, and worked as a freelance conceptual designer and graphic artist for ATI, Sony and for the San Francisco Black Film Festival. Paris has also directed several independent short films including Beeble, Kings Den and Godfree. Paris is currently writing chapter two, a sequal to his feature length screenplay ¢Redemption Falls. Interests: My career goal is to have success as a working actor and sell, produce, direct or even star in one of my own screenplays. I don't think my work should be complete, as a writer, until the film is in the can! The union would say otherwise.
